BigFoot Staffing is seeking a Training Content Developer on behalf of our client, a well-established industrial equipment and service company. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, creative, and comfortable turning technical information into clear, engaging training content.
The ideal candidate will enjoy working with subject matter experts, developing training materials, creating instructional videos, and supporting both online and in-person learning programs.
About the Role:
Our client is looking for an energetic self-starter to help create training courses and materials that support employee and customer development. This role will work closely with trainers, managers, and subject matter experts to identify training needs, develop course content, and produce materials that are clear, engaging, and effective.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop training courses with clear objectives and easy-to-follow content.
- Create instructional materials for online and in-person learning.
- Capture and edit video, audio, and other training content.
- Work with subject matter experts to understand concepts, training gaps, and project timelines.
- Help improve existing training materials to make them more interactive and effective.
- Support course updates and content uploads in the company’s Learning Management System.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of instructional development experience.
- Strong understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles.
- Experience with camera work, audio editing, storyboarding, and video production.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro.
- Strong communication, organization, and creative problem-solving skills.
Work Environment:
This role is primarily computer-based and may require extended periods of sitting, along with occasional movement through work areas. Candidates should be able to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
Compensation & Employment Details:
$29 - $36 per hour, depending on experience. This is a temporary contract position expected to last approximately 9–12 months, with the potential to become a full-time position based on business needs and performance.
