Interview
It was a first interview so there were just STAR questions and nothing technical. They also asked me to talk about some of my projects. The interview was with 3 people: A team lead and 2 other engineers. The interviewers were nice but the experience was horrible.
First of all, they had the interview over zoom and did not bother to show their faces at all.
Secondly, the STAR questions they asked were weird and some were redundant. The team lead even admitted that they were reading questions straight from a booklet. More importantly there were NO personal questions at all! They did not ask about who I was, what were my strengths, or why I wanted to apply. It seemed as though they already had a candidate in mind and went through with the interview because of formalities.
Overall, this interview was pretty bad.
