Staged interview, based on military higher ups from my company knowing military high ups from this company (military buddies) that created a fake, mock interview that was already planned for a rejection. The two youngsters on the phone praised by answers and knowledge about topics outside of this job description/title. They asked questions not related to this job, and skewed them towards my resume (funny, it was similar to almost the same questions I asked candidates on video interviews for positions at my current company). Again, it was staged and not meant to be a positive experience. They lie about the next rounds being so so so much interviewing and presentations and huge 15-person group panels for many hours, to try to depress you (sorry, I knew it was fake and total lies). Told me they will get back to me in 2 weeks (giggling I heard over the phone by them), and sent me a rejection letter one day later (after they praised my talent). I was teaching them over the phone, because they were not too competent at all. Again, it's a military-based company hiring "military buddies", and who knew the military buddies in my company. Staged and dirty interview setup and tactics. My company is very unethical to instigate it.
