Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA-C).
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Experience in cardiovascular or a related field is preferred, though not required.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
- BLS/ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain).

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiology Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic cardiology team. The ideal candidate will assist in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiac-related conditions, collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals, and provide high-quality care in outpatient setting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the health and well-being of patients with cardiovascular diseases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests.
- Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac-related conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular disorders.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with physician protocols.
- Perform minor procedures such as stress tests, and device interrogation.
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans for patients with chronic cardiovascular conditions.
- Provide patient education on heart disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and adherence to prescribed therapies.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Stay current with advancements in cardiology and contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical practices.
- Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.

Experience:
- We prefer a minimum of 1-2 Years experience as a Physician Assistant in Cardiology.

License/Certification:
- We will provide full support with licensure. To start working you will need an active Guam Physician Assistant (PA) license to practice medicine and Certification by The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or equivalent Board, Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certificate (we can provide assistance), Basic Life Saving (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification will be needed and can be obtained on Guam after starting work.
