I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan (Hyderābād) in Jan 2023
Interview
Process started with C.V being shortlisted by recruiter followed by a brief 10 min call to give overview about role and expectations. Total 3 rounds of interview were conducted. First two were pure technical and last round techno-managerial round. To be frank, I didn't like the way interview happened. In spite of answering correctly all the questions correctly, They won't respond back. It feels like they are just scheduling interviews to understand how processes are happening in other industry so that they can bring similar experience to their team. Atleast they should convey or give some feedback to the candidates what we are missing. I gave interview 3 times with different teams within JP Morgan but each time they disappointed me. I can only say that it's just a big brand in banking sector. In DevOps area, I believe they are still using legacy tools/technologies and still haven't migrated to cloud though they ask questions from cloud side.

Question 1
Difference between SRE and DevOps SLI/SLA/SLO understanding How to add new nodes in Kubernetes cluster? Command used to check port available in Linux system What services used in AWS?
1 hour long with two interviewers. They were VERY picky with obscure language questions say on python peculararites. I've gone 10 years coding in python without having to know what they asked for - They were picky - and that is their perogative - but they are going to pass on lots of good people - so expect a hard interview and a dear John letter.
