Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software solutions supporting mission-critical applications.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause analysis to ensure system stability.
• Collaborate within an Agile team to research, test, build, and integrate new capabilities based on customer and program requirements.
• Develop new software products and major enhancements, ensuring usability, scalability, and performance across multiple platforms.
• Address system integration and compatibility challenges across diverse environments.
• Evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of application software packages, integration tools, and testing technologies.
• Provide expertise for new development initiatives, including implementation and technical support activities.
• Respond to technical inquiries, resolve issues, and perform non-programming troubleshooting as needed.
• Estimate Level of Effort (LOE) for development tasks, contributing to effective sprint planning and delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing against relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) with strong SQL skills.
• Minimum 1 year of experience building web services.
• Minimum 1 year writing automated unit tests.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective team collaborator with the ability to mentor junior developers.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience supporting Java applications and frameworks (e.g., Spring).
• At least 2 years of Angular development experience (Version 8+).
• At least 2 years working in Agile teams using Jira or similar tools.
• At least 1 year working in an automated CI/CD environment (Git, Bamboo, Jenkins, SonarQube).

Desired Skills

• Experience deploying solutions in cloud environments such as AWS.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with JMS technologies (IBM MQ, ActiveMQ).

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
