Job Description Summary
The purpose of this position is to tutor students, enhance their programming or networking skills & knowledge to facilitate success in the students’ declared degree program. Lab tutors will use collaborative and interactive process to enable and encourage students to become a more effective and independent learners. This position will also serve to monitor an open computer lab for general student access.
Minimum Qualifications
At least an 3.5 GPA in related course work
Completion of at least 30 college hours
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Effective communication skills.
Ability to work with students from various backgrounds.
Commitment to work scheduled hours.
General working knowledge of MS Office Applications.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience collaborating in a team setting.
45 completed college credit hours.
Knowledge of learning management systems (preferably Canvas).
