About the Job
You’ll join a fully-remote team building custom business applications (intranets, data integrations, APIs, and workflow automation) for clients in travel, marketing, and related industries. You'll work across the stack on real products, collaborate directly with teammates, internal leadership, and client-side decision-makers.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a pragmatic developer who enjoys building application platforms, solving difficult integration challenges, and working across teams to deliver custom software solutions. In this position, you will work directly with technical leadership to evaluate client needs, then design, build, and operate the systems and full-stack applications from early-stage architecture through production delivery.
- Solid full-stack fundamentals; comfortable owning a feature from database to UI
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs
- Working knowledge of ReactJS, including Remix or React Router.
- SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL); Understanding of relational data querying, monitoring, and performance.
- Clear written communication: This is a remote team, so asynchronous clarity matters.
- Comfortable with AI-augmented development using Claude (Chat, Cowork, and Code) or similar, and supporting institutional guidelines as part of day-to-day workflows.
Priority Skills & Experience
- TypeScript / Node.js
- React, Remix, Tailwind, or other modern full-stack web frameworks
- REST and GraphQL API design
- Docker and containerized deployments
- OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and authentication systems
- MCP (Model Context Protocol) or AI tool integration experience
- AI/LLM application development
- OpenAI, Anthropic, or agent framework experience
- Comfort working within Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
- Security-minded development practices
- Experience building developer-facing platforms, SDKs, or integration products
- Demonstrable ability to work across multiple data sources and services in an event-driven ecosystem
Nice to Have
- Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.)
- Experience working in startups or greenfield product environments
- Experience with event-driven architectures or message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
- Exposure to software architecture principles, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines.
- Technical documentation and independent research habits.
- Interest in mentoring or being mentored as the team grows.
- Working knowledge of Agile environments (sprint planning, iterative delivery, and collaborative code reviews)
