Pros
Direct teams are great to work with and as long as you hold them to a standard they show up and rise to the occasion.
Cons
HQ has never or doesn’t remember what it is like being on the floor so they try to talk through situations that they do not know about. This causes quick, negative judgments by HQ when they just need to watch and even do some of the functions a team member does to help open their eyes. They expect everyone to “stay open” - they need to as well.
