About the Role

We are building a vision and robotics software platform that connects AI models, cameras, robots, PLCs, and user-facing applications into production-ready systems deployed across edge and cloud environments.

We’re looking for a Paid Software Engineering Intern who wants hands-on experience working on real vision, robotics, and platform software, not sample projects. You’ll work directly with senior engineers on production systems.

What You’ll Work On

• Assist in building cloud-connected vision and robotics services
• Support AI inference workflows and backend services
• Develop internal web interfaces and dashboards
• Help integrate cameras, edge devices, or backend components
• Participate in deployment and testing of edge and cloud systems

Responsibilities

• Implement frontend and backend features under guidance
• Contribute to REST APIs and backend services
• Assist with frontend development using React and TypeScript
• Support AI inference integration (vision, OCR, detection, tracking)
• Help test integrations with cameras, edge devices, or robotics systems
• Work with Dockerized services on Linux
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation
• Collaborate in an Agile development environment

Tech Stack Exposure

Frontend

• React + TypeScript

Backend / Platform

• Python (FastAPI) and/or Node.js

Cloud & Infrastructure

• AWS and/or Azure
• Docker
• CI/CD basics
• Linux environments

Vision / Robotics (Exposure-Based)

• AI inference pipelines (ONNX, Triton, or similar)
• Cameras, edge devices, and automation systems

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in

Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or related field

• Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python or JavaScript preferred)
• Basic understanding of web development or backend services
• Comfortable working in Linux environments
• Strong willingness to learn and take ownership

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Experience with React, Python, or REST APIs
• Exposure to AWS or Azure
• Interest in computer vision, robotics, or automation
• Experience with Docker or containers

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
